Absolutely Fabulous - Show Summary

In this satirical British sitcom, which became a cult hit on American cable, a grotesquely self-centered fashion victim chain-smokes, swills champagne, abuses drugs, munches caviar, terrorizes her daughter, and tries in vain to mingle with the beautiful people -- all in the company of her sleek, slutty, boozed-up best friend.

Meanwhile Saffy is having some friends over, Emma Bunton and her old friend from school. Her friend is mental and decides to stalk Emma when she goes. This ends up in the best way possible.

Patsy says she could show Minnie some stuff. The next day they are both at Eddy's house. Eddy goes into the panic room and Patsy follows because she wants Eddy's necklace for Minnie. They get locked in with no way out.

Despite Patsy's best efforts, Eddie swears off champagne and begins to shed the pounds. But her nights are plagued with visits from God and the Devil, who have their own agendas. Meanwhile, budding playwright Saffy bumps into a pretentious old school friend, Taylor Johns, who attempts to use her in his bid to further his acting career, and Patsy decides to see what life is like without her trademark Sixties forelock.

Despite Saffy's objections about the magazine, Eddie leafs through it and realises that it has been awhile since she has had sex. Patsy talks her into hiring two male prostitutes on the night that Saffy has a presentation at school, both of which don't go off as smoothly as they would have liked.
