The TV King

What did I take away from this week's  House?  It's hard to be pretty!  This isn't the first time this theme has come up.  Remember the pilot?  House hired Cameron because she looked good.  Like artwork.  Gasp!  Cameron was shocked and insulted that she was hired not on her merits, but on her looks.  Why else is it a burden to be so beautiful?

Jake Pavelka has quickly become a tabloid staple ever since he proposed to contestant Vienna Girardi on The Bachelor. While his stint alone on the ABC reality dating series has sparked a lot of controversies, it's nothing compared to the drama he's experiencing whenever the cameras aren't rolling.

It's slightly funny seeing James finally get his "one voice" wish on Survivor: Heroes vs Villains last night. I mean, you can't get any better than being you tribe's sole caller in the immunity challenge--the only guy who can see where everybody is going! Nothing beats being in power and being omnipresent!

That and one more thing: he somehow helped orchestrate Tom's elimination. Somehow, because he only floated the idea and let things roll from there. Sure, he argued that Tom was throwing the Heroes into confusion during the challenges--in my term, the voice of dissent--and isn't helping them live another day. But the plan wouldn't have succeeded if not for everybody else buying him logic.

In less than two weeks Supernatural returns with new episodes.  The first new episode back, "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid," will focus heavily on Bobby, prompting me to wonder what your favorite Bobby moment is.

Bobby has been a major part of Supernatural since first appearing at the end of season 1, though Jim Beaver has only appeared in 25 of the show's 96 episodes.  That's still a lot of great moments to choose from, so let us know which one is the best.

It may take some time before we see Conan O'Brien again on TV, considering his contract with NBC prohibits him to do so until September, but that hasn't stopped the former Tonight Show host from doing what he loves best. Beginning April 12, the 46-year-old comedian will be hitting the road for his live comedy tour, which is fittingly titled "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour."
