The story behind the making of Scoots of Anarchy

I recently watched the Sons of Anarchy parody film, Scoots of Anarchy. A video made by the fans for the fans. After watching the film I got in touch with co-creator, director and the guy playing Jax Matt Dority. Who wrote the following post about the story behind the film.

Scoots of Anarchy out for a ride

Greetings TV World,

Thank you for your support and interest in Scoots of Anarchy, a short inspired by two friends playing with their cellphones on scooters. What motivated this film? A desire to prove that we have the ability to make a quality film using only the cellphones that everyone carries.

In 2009, we got the opportunity to work on the feature film Dolphin Tale. Our experience on this movie ignited our passion for filmmaking and the joy of riding electric scooters, which were our on-set transportation. After that, all it took was the release of HD camera cellphones, a love of the show Sons of Anarchy, and three great Halloween costumes. On October 31st, 2011, we dressed up as Sons and hit the streets of LA on our scooters. The massive amount of hysteria we caused and the attention we received could not be ignored. That night the Scoots of Anarchy were born. With an iPhone 4s and a Droid Bionic, three friends set out to revolutionize the film industry. In a five month period with no permits, no budget and no crew, Scoots of Anarchy came to life. We are thrilled that people all over the world are enjoying it. Thank you all so much for your support and stay tuned for the next project from West Waters Productions.
