BBC's adaptation of the Charlse Dickens classic Little Dorrit was among the winners at this years Emmys.

Little Dorrit picked up a handful of awards, including art direction, costumes and cinematography.

Little Dorrit also won best miniseries and director Dearbhla Walsh won outstanding director of a miniseries and script writer Andrew Davis also picked up an award.

Accepting the best miniseries award, executive producer Anne Pivcevic said: "We are thrilled that Little Dorrit has gone down so well this side of the Atlantic."
