Netflix have renewed their original series Hemlock Grove for a 2nd season. The show is based on the novel from Brian McGreevy of the same name. The Horror follows the story of a fictional town in Pennsylvania, including fictional beings such as Werewolves. Hemlock Grove stars; Famke Janssen as Olivia Godfrey, Penelope Mitchell as Letha Godfrey, Freya Tingley as Christina Wendall, Bill Skarsgård as Roman Godfrey, Nicole Boivin as Shelley Godfrey, Landon Liboiron as Peter Rumancek and Dougray Scott as Norman Godfrey.
While Hemlock Grove may not be as good as the Outstanding, House of Cards (which has also has been commissioned for a 2nd season), it is a very good show in its own right and well deserving of its second season.
The 2nd season will have 10 episodes, three shorter than the 1st season which was released on Netflix April 19th 2013. Season 2 is expected to be released on Netflix in 2014.
