Louis C.K.'s FX show Louie UK Air Date Confirmed

Louis C.K.'s FX show Louie, will finally make its UK première tonight on FOX.
US fans may have completed season 3 last Autumn on FX but UK fans of Louis C.K.'s comedy have been left frustrated by the seemingly lack of interest by UK channels. However UK fans will now be able to get their Louis fix by watching Louie(notice the spelling) on FOX at 9PM on Tuesdays. Starting tonight Tuesday 22nd January on FOX(formerly FX).
Having been fortunate to preview, the first 3 episodes, fans of Louie will not be disappointed with this series. it's not your typical US sticom but then you don't expect FX to produce typical shows. Just look at a few of their other comedies: Archer, Wilfred and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The series is centred around a fictional version of Loius C.K., and uses his observational humour, to create episodes which highlight the life of a newly single father of 2 working hard to raise his two young daughters. While working as a stand-up comedian.
In the first of the 13 episodes we meet Louie as he joins his daughter on a school trip. As the parent helper. Remember them? Needless to say this trip doesn't go to plan and when the bus is in a less desirable part of town Louie comes into his own. With the first episode split into 2 parts we then see Louie's attempt to start dating again. However it isn't the most successful of dates.
Don't miss Louie on FOX at 9PM Tuesdays, beginning tonight January 22nd.
Not sure if Louie is your cup of tea? Why not check-out this extra scene of season 1 available on the DVD. I am sure you will enjoy his dark comedy as much as I do.
