Suits the legal dramedy from USA Network has been renewed for a deserved 3rd season. The 3rd season will contain 16 episodes and will air on USA Network next summer 2013. USA Network's Co-Presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber remarked “Quite simply, Suits is as good as it gets. Sophisticated storytelling, sharp dialogue, and award-worthy performances make this show a cornerstone of our original programming lineup.”

Suits, currently on a mid-season hiatus, will return to complete its 2nd season, with 6 episodes beginning in January on USA Network.

The fact that Suits has been picked-up for a 3rd season doesn't come as much of a surprise after an impressive start to the 2nd season which saw Suits rank as one of the top shows on USA Network. The mid-season finale of Suits pulled in a record 6.5 million viewers.

For UK fans of Suits, we are still waiting to see, season 2. Stay tuned to find out the UK air date for the season 2 premiere of Suits. Which is due later this year on Dave but not before mid November. If it does as well for Dave as season 1 did, there is no doubt UKTV will be looking to pick-up the 3rd season.

Suits was created by Aaron Korsh and follows Mike Ross, a college dropout with an eidetic memory who, before being kicked out of college for selling an exam paper, once dreamed of becoming an attorney. After Mike wonders into an office while evading the police, he impresses Harvey Specter who then proceeds to hires him as a less-than-legal associate for the law firm of Pearson Hardman. Produced by Universal Cable Productions, the drama series stars Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle and Sarah Rafferty.
