USA Network has renewed Royal Pains for a further 26 episodes. This will result in 2 more seasons of the hit original drama series.

This year, USA Network made it 7 years in a row at the top of the cable rankings across all key demos. With Royal Pains in the top 10 of the network's scripted hour long shows, renewal doesn't come as much of a surprise.

Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel, co-presidents, USA Network said

"... The execution in writing, acting and production is among the best on television. In an increasingly competitive landscape, these series got new season pickups the old-fashioned way -- they earned it!,"

Royal Pains renewed for season 5 and 6

Universal Cable Productions Royal Pains season 5 will begin production in New York on 2013 and will air on the USA Network in summer 2013. Season 4 ended with episode 14 "Sand Legs” on September 19th.

For UK fans, season 3 of Royal Pains on Universal Channel. We still haven't seen season 4 yet. However you can catch repeats of season 1 episodes on Universal Channel. With episodes 2,3 and 4 starting at 2AM Sunday 7th October.

ROYAL PAINS follows talented young doctor Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) a disgraced New York City physician who reinvents himself as the Hamptons' hot new doctor-on-demand to the rich and famous. The drama also stars Paulo Costanzo, Reshma Shetty and Brooke D’Orsay. On December 16, USA will offer a two-hour movie event “Off-Season Greetings,” an intimate look at the backstory of the Lawson brothers and a celebration of the long-awaited nuptials of Evan (Costanzo) and Paige (D’Orsay). From Universal Cable Productions, ROYAL PAINS is written and executive produced by Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch. Paul Frank and Rich Frank also serve as executive producer along with Jeff Kwatinetz from Prospect Park and Connie Burge. Carol Flint, Jon Sherman, Kerry Orent and Jack Bernstein co-executive produce.
