Hugh Jackman, one of the stars in the upcoming Les Miserables musical movie, won a special Tony award, which was presented to him by his wife, Debborra-Lee Furness.

For me, most of my predictions came true this year. I was delighted to see Peter and the Starcatcher take home so many awards. While Newsies did not win Best Musical, I am so happy to see them win a Tony for Best Score and Best Choreography. I have been listening to the Newsies soundtrack so much recently and it is absolutely amazing. I recommend it to anyone who loves Broadway along with the soundtrack for Once. Both are amazing and easy to listen to.

Thank you to all of the winners and nominees for reminding myself and countless others what the wonder of theater is truly about. You make the dreamers in all come to life.
