CBS have announced that Rules of Engagement will be returning for another season. However the half-hour comedy will only get 13 episodes this time and will have to take a back seat as it has been scheduled to return mid-season.
So Rules of Engagement fans will have to waiting until early 2013 to see brand new episodes on CBS. Which may mean that once again fans of the show have to put up with it being bounced around the schedule. Rules star Megyn Price said to TVLine “It’s more a testament to our fans, because they literally find us no matter what,” and “Our numbers stay the same whether we have a great lead-in [such as The Big Bang Theory] or a not-great lead-in. It’s one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen.”
Rules of Engagement is a about the different phases of male/female relationships, as seen through the eyes of an engaged couple, Adam (Oliver Hudson) and Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich); a long-time married pair, Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price), a single guy on the prowl, Russell (David Spade), and his office assistant, Timmy (Adhir Kalyan).
Meanwhile UK fans can catch brand new episodes of Rules of Engagement, season 6,Thursday nights at 10:00PM on e4 straight after brand new US comedy Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23.
