'Being Human' season 2 premiere gets high ratings main image

On January 16, 2012, the SyFy series “Being Human” returned for its season 2 premiere. The show launches what is known as “Powerful Mondays” and includes the programs “Being Human” and “Lost Girl.” Reruns of shows such as “Alphas” and “Sanctuary” often complete the night and run into the morning.  The second season premiere of “Being Human” saw a 14% increase in viewers between the ages of 25 and 44-years-old, a nine percent increase in adults 18-34-years old and an eight percent increase in adults 18-49-years-old as compared to the season one series premiere. The show averaged approximately 1.8 million views. The numbers were high enough to come in as the series second highest audience ever.

SyFy has nine scripted series and acquired the Canadian hit “Lost Girl” which also enjoyed a nice debut following “Being Human.” SyFY scripted series past and present include Alphas, Eureka, Haven, Merlin, Sanctuary, Stargate University, Warehouse 13 and Ani-Monday.
