ABC’s “Charlie’s Angels” has some stiff competition as the show premiered on Thursday, September 22, 2011 in the 8:00 – 9:00 pm, time slot, facing X Factor.  The show surprised by performing well, in fact, ABC announced it was the highest rated scripted series telecast in the 8:00 – 9:00 pm, timeslot since Flash Forward debuted in the fall of 2009.  Though the crime drama did well for ABC, it came in third place as compared to CBS (The Big Bang Theory) and Fox’s new Simon Cowell reality show, “The X Factor.”  “Charlie’s Angels” did beat NBC’s Thursday night comedies, “Community” and “Parks and Recreations.”  “Charlie’s Angels” received a total of 8.7 million viewers.

The series stars Annie Ilonzeh as Kate Prince, Minka Kelly as Eve French, Rachael Taylor as Abby Sampson and Ramon Rodriguez as John Bosley.  There has been a change with several of the episodes and on September 29, 2011, “Angels” returns with special guest star Isaiah Mustafa (the new Old Spice guy), in an episode titled, “Runway Angels.”
