NBC’s new series ‘Up All Night’ premieres Wednesday main image

NBC’s new series, “Up All Night,” premieres Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 10:00 pm, and features an all star cast with Christina Applegate as Reagan, Will Arnett as Chris, Maya Rudolph as Ava and Nick Cannon as Calvin.  The show was created by Emily Spivey, who is also a creative force behind “Parks and Recreation” and “Saturday Night Live,” as well as “Saturday Night Live” and “30 Rock” creator Lorne Michaels. 

The show features Applegate and Arnett as new parents who have a bit of role reversal.  Reagan (Applegate) is a successful business woman and always finds herself to be the center of attention who is married to stay at home dad, Chris.  The two navigate their new roles as they fight the battles of sleep deprivation.  Maya Rudolph plays Reagan’s boss, who continues to wreak havoc in the couple’s lives.
