Survivor's Jeff Probst nominated once again for Outstanding Reality Show Host at this year's Emmys main image

Jeff Probst was once again nominated for a Primetime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Reality Show Host.  He has won the award since the category was created in 2008, so this is his 4th consecutive nomination and potential win in the category.

Survivor was once again snubbed (as it always is) in the Outstanding Reality Program category, but was not an overall strong year for the show.  It did gain 2  other nominations, both obviously in the category of Reality Programming, for Picture Editing (Redemption Island episode "Don't You Work For Me?") and Cinematography (Redemption Island episode "Rice Wars.")  Survivor was nominated in both of these categories as well last year.

Survivor: South Pacific, the show's 23rd season, begins September 14th on CBS.  Beginning next week (Wednesday, July 20th), and every Wednesday leading up to the premiere, you can check back here for a weekly preview of all the latest in Survivor news and information, including cast rumors and announcements as they happen.
