ABC is bringing back their hit 70s and 80s series, Charlie’s Angels with three new faces this fall.  The show was an iconic staple of the 70s and put the likes of Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson on the map.  The show also inspired two hit movies starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.  Two of the producers from the movies, Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen, will join the producer from the original series, Leonard Goldberg, in producing the new series.  The original 70s series was co-produced by Goldberg and Aaron Spelling, who sadly passed away in 2006.  The new series will feature Rachael Taylor as Abby, Annie Ilonzeh as Kate and Minka Kelly as Eve.

The new series will take place in Miami, Florida and will feature the women as they are given a second chance in life and an opportunity to work for the Charlie Townsend Detective Agency.  As in the original series, the character of Bosley will appear and will be played by Ramon Rodriguez.

ABC describes the new angels as three fearless detectives who are head-turning beauties and close friends.

The new Charlie’s Angels will air from 8:00 pm- 9:00 pm, ET on Thursdays beginning this fall.
