ABC’s new series Happy Endings announced several programming changes for the April 20th and 27th episodes.   On Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 10:30 pm-11:00 pm the episode “Mein Coming Out” will air instead of the “Modern Family: Halloween” episode.  In “Mein Coming Out” the group will try to convince Max to visit his parents but he will ask one of the women to pretend to be his girlfriend.  While this transpires, Penny will meet her dream man, Doug.  Doug is everything she wants in a man yet he has an infamous last name.

Guest stars include Alan Rachins as Howard Blum, Greg Cromer as Doug, Caroline Aaron as Pauline Blum, Nathan Barnatt as Roger, and Matthew Rocheleau as the waiter.

On April 27, 2011 from 10:30-11:00 pm, Happy Endings will air the episode” Like Father, Like Gun.”  Damon Wayans will guest star in the role of Francis Williams.

In “Like Father, Like Gun,” Brad’s dad (played by Wayans) comes to town for health tests.  After getting the “all clear” he celebrates by getting a bit wild.  Penny meets another man, this time he is a gorgeous Italian hunk who is seemingly perfect with only one minor flaw- he doesn’t speak English.  Things may be okay as Penny studied Italian, but unfortunately, she can only speak this language of love when she is drunk.

Happy Endings centers upon friends as they struggle to find their place in their own relationships when their “super couple” friends, Alex and Dave, break up.  Eliza Coupe stars as Jane, Elisha Cuthbert stars as Alex, Zachary Knighton stars as Dave, Adam Pally stars as Max, Casey Wilson stars as Penny and Damon Wayans, Jr. stars as Brad.

You may watch the Pilot and first episode of Happy Endings in the video players below.
