The drama surrounding Charlie Sheen continues to unfold as chants of “Winning,” continue to be heard.  With the news that Charlie Sheen has officially been fired from his hit CBS show Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen promptly responded with a lawsuit against the show’s executive producer, Chuck Lorre. He is seeking 100,000,000 in damages.

The lawsuit was filed on Thursday, March 10, 2011 in the L.A. Superior Court.  In the lawsuit,
Charlie Sheen alleges that Warner Brothers has worked with Charlie Sheen previously in light of previous scandal, such as criminal charges of assault against his estranged wife Brooke Mueller.  Charlie Sheen entered a plea of guilty to the charges.  The lawsuit indicates that Sheen believes he was fired for speaking against Chuck Lorre and Warner Brothers in public, and not for his behavior.

Meanwhile, Two and a Half Men is in reruns and are presumably seeking to recast Charlie’s role.  Some have questioned whether the show can survive Sheen’s dismissal.  On April 18, 2011, Two and a Half Men returns to CBS, but not with new programming.  The April 18th episode is a rerun, “Chocolate Diddlers or My Puppy’s Dead” and features Jane Lynch as Charlie’s therapist and Jenny McCarthy as Courtney.  The episode originally aired on December 13, 2010.

As if there wasn’t enough drama currently underway with Charlie Sheen,  his home was raided late March 10, 2011 after authorities learned there may be weapons in his home.  Due to Charlie Sheen’s conviction for assault on his estranged wife, the actor is prohibited from having firearms.  Though his home was raided, Charlie Sheen was neither taken in for questioning nor arrested.  There is a current restraining order in place against Charlie Sheen preventing him from having contact with Brooke Mueller or the couple’s 23-month-old twin sons, Max and Bob.
