The TV King

The sci-fi classic Dune has had a new Director appointed by Paramount. Since loosing Peter Berg last October Paramount has been searching for a new director for a Dune re-make. Paramount has hired the Taken helmer Pierre Morel to direct to film. The next step is to get a writer with the ability blend Morel's vision for the film with the pre-exsiting script that had been penned by 007 writer Josh Zetumer who worked on Quantun of Solace.

The plan is to make a very faithful adaptation of the 1965 book by Frank Herbert. Paramount’s production chief Adam Goodman has the film down as a high priority with Kevin Misher and Richard Rubinstein producing.
