Wanted Down Under

Wanted Down Under is touted as a 20 part TV series where the shows producers take people who are thinking of moving to Australia, out to Australia for a week. The families spend the week getting to know Australia, the lifestyle and some of the challenges such as job and house hunting (the latter of which is something we know a lot about). They are even given the opportunity to partake in regular common Aussie activities such as “petting kangaroos” !

War and Peace

Warriors (1999) tells the story of a group of British peacekeepers serving in a peacekeeping operation of the UNPROFOR in Vitez, in Bosnia during Lašva Valley ethnic cleansing in 1993.

Warship (1973)

Warship was a popular British television drama series produced by the BBC between 1973 and 1977. The series dealt with life on board a Royal Navy warship, the fictional HMS Hero.

Watchdog

Watchdog is a BBC television series that investigates viewers' reports of problematic experiences with traders, retailers, and other companies around the UK. It has had great success in changing the awareness consumers have of their purchasing rights and in changing policies of companies, closing businesses down and pushing for law changes.

Waterloo Road

Waterloo Road Comprehensive isn't doing very well. Many of the teachers feel that their job is pointless, and the pupils couldn't care less about their education. When the Headteacher of the school has a nervous breakdown, Jack Rimmer is promoted to the position, much to his dismay. He knows that if the school doesn't clean up its act soon, it could mean the end. So he decides to hire optimistic teacher Andrew Treneman, who gives up his private school teaching job, in order to improve the situation of Waterloo Road. Andrew is certain that with strict discipline and a house system, things will get better. Watt On Earth

"Black holes and Quasars" ...Watt On Earth was a short lived children's series as part of 'Children's BBC' and written by the 'Doctor Who' writers Jane & Pip Baker. The show starred 'Watt' (Garth Napier Jones) as an alien who came to earth to escape his evil uncle. Watt was heir to the throne on his planet and his uncle even sent his top henchman 'Jemjemah' to follow Watt to earth and terminate him. Watt landed in the English town on Haxton and be-friended 'Shaun Ruddock' (Tom Brodie) who managed to keep Watt's presence in the house a secret throughout the whole shows run.
