Northwest Passage

Northwest Passage logoThe actual historical search for an inland waterway that would enable boat traffic to cross the breadth of America was the focal point of NORTHWEST PASSAGE, which was set during the French and Indian War (1754-1759). Major Robert Rogers as the experienced explorer and Indian fighter who organized Rogers' Rangers to help him search for that mythical route. The adventures of these men, exploring, fighting and battling the American wilderness, provided the stories. Chief among the troops were veteran Indian fighter and long-time friend Hunk Marriner, and Langdon Towne, a Harvard graduate from a well to do Eastern family who had become the company mapmaker. They never found the Northwest Passage but did help the settlers in the areas now known as New York State and Eastern Canada.

Out All Night

Out All Night logoThe after the success of Will Smith (music star gone television) in Fresh Prince, producers decided to try the concept with Patti LaBelle in Out All Night. The laughs come fast when a blues singer makes the nightclub scene...as the owner! Two recent college grads get the break of their lives when a hip lady not only gives them jobs...but takes them in! In the show, art imitates life, as Patti plays singing legend and Los Angeles nightclub owner Chelsea Paige. Best of all, LaBelle will get plenty of opportunities to show off her voice, as will other music greats Hammer, Luther Vandross, Gladys Knight, Boyz II Men, Dionne Warwick and other artists who will drop in from time to time. Besides Chelsea, this comedy centers around Jeff and Vidal. They're two guys who've just finished four tough y...

Outlaw

Outlaw logoStarring Emmy Award winner Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue, West Wing), Executive Producer John Eisendrath (Alias, Felicity) brings us a drama that isn't afraid to speak truth to power. Few jobs are guaranteed for a lifetime, and a Supreme Court appointment is one you just don't quit. Unless you're Cyrus Garza (Smits). A playboy and a gambler, Justice Garza always adhered to a strict interpretation of the law. Until he realized the system he always believed in was flawed. Now, he's quit the bench and returned to being an attorney. Determined to represent "the little guy," he's using his inside knowledge of the justice system to take on today's biggest legal cases. And making plenty of powerful people unhappy along the way.

Outsourced

Outsourced logoFrom writer Robert Borden (The Drew Carey Show) and director Ken Kwapis (The Office) comes a comedy where cultural differences are a novelty. Mid America Novelties sells products like whoopee cushions, foam fingers, and wallets made of bacon. Yes, this is the stuff upon which the American way of life is built, but try explaining that to someone who lives on the other side of the world. Well, that's exactly what Todd Donovan must do when he's sent to run the company's call center in India. Talk about culture shock, and not just for Todd's employees. While Todd has to teach them how to make the up-sell to the Deluxe Twin Beer Helmet, he's going to have to adapt as well. Like in a country where cows are sacred, perhaps you don't order a double cheeseburger. Wish him luck. Or as they say in In...

Parenthood (2009)

Parenthood (2009) logoFrom writer/executive producer Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights) -- this contemporary re-imagining of the blockbuster film depicts the colorful and imperfect Braverman family -- four grown siblings sharing the headaches, heartaches and joy of being parents. The star-studded cast includes Peter Krause, Maura Tierney, Craig T. Nelson, Dax Shepard, Bonnie Bedelia, Monica Potter, Erika Christensen and Sarah Ramos. When Sarah Braverman (Tierney, ER), a financially strapped single mother, returns home to her parents and siblings in Berkeley, Calif. after packing up her Fresno apartment and uprooting her two inconvenienced kids, Amber (Mae Whitman) and Drew (Miles Heizer), she is greeted by her opinionated father, Zeek (Nelson), and strong mother, Camille (Bedelia) who are privately dealing with...
