Rosie and Jim

Rosie and Jim logoThe programme features two ragdolls, Rosie and Jim, in a narrowboat called the Ragdoll. In this boat they would travel along the waterways of Central England with their friend Duck and the Ragdoll's owner. The owner is convinced that Rosie and Jim are just ordinary ragdolls; however, each time the boat is docked and the owner visits the town or village, Duck gives the signal by quacking and Rosie and Jim magically come to life and secretly follow the owner, often causing mishaps and hijinks that leave the boat owner and the person or people he/she visits quite bemused.

Round the Bend

Round the Bend logoThe creators of 'Spitting Image' present a comic strip (as in a collection of short and rude funny papers) on television. Presented by four rubber animals living in the London Sewer, namely Doc Croc (who had the ability to use his tail as an extra appendage) and his three ratty underlings: Vaudeville Vince Vermin, Jemimah Wellington-Green and Luchetti Bruchetti (birth name: Lou Brush). Every week they would unleash a cavalcade of puns (mostly revolving in and around the toilet) during their framework sequence, but the real highlight of the show were crudely animated cartoons and one slightly more impressive stop motion serial from 'Incredibly Cheap Productions' in association with 'We Could Use This Set For Something Else DLC' Some of the recurring 'comics' included the `Odd Bot Family', ...

Scotland The Edge Of The Land

Scotland The Edge Of The Land logoA spectacular aerial journey up Scotland`s Western coastline. The edge of the land is where geography becomes history; much of what defines the Scots happened where the Atlantic`s long fingers reach into the heart of Scotland. From the air we see where man has patterned the landscape; the great city of Glasgow, the fisher towns of the west. We see the marks made by a thousand generations; the stones at Callanish, the brochs of Glenelg. The wild margins of Scotland have been shaped by the raw power of the ocean; the cliffs at Cape Wrath, the jagged ridge of the Cuillin. We see sea eagles in flight, bottle-nosed dolphins at play. We see Scotland from a unique compass perspective, until now unavailable to earthbound Scots.
