The PokerStars.net Big Game logoThe Big Game is a televised high-stakes cash game, similar to High Stakes Poker, featuring poker legends such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Laak, and Vanessa Rousseau. There is a bit of a twist though. Each episode, an amateur player, dubbed the Loose Cannon, will try his luck versus the sharks. PokerStars.net has given the Loose Cannon $100,000 to play with. The Big Game is played with $200/$400 blinds and a $100 ante. The amateur player gets to keep any profit he makes. If the Loose Cannon profits, he can choose to walk away or battle it out the next day for more glory and money.
